Abstract
A new multi‐socket indicator strip, ideal for use with computers and illuminated readout devices, has been introduced by the Special Products Division of Thorn Electrical Industries Ltd., Thorn House, Upper St. Martin's Lane, London, W.C.2. This new unit produced in strips of twelve sockets with both ½‐in. and ¾‐in. centres, overall length 6 in. and 9 in. respectively requires only one earth connexion irrespective of the unit length employed. Indicator problems are thus greatly simplified for the designer and installation engineer. An easy‐mount single socket similar to the indicator strip is also available, which can be used separately or in conjunction with the multi‐strip socket.
