Ancillary Equipment for Nimrod: Brief details of selected items of equipment used on HS.801

Abstract

The Hawker Siddeley Nimrod aircraft currently in service with Royal Air Force Coastal Command is the World's first pure jet maritime reconnaissance aircraft designed for operation from land bases. The crew of the Nimrod includes two navigators, one for tactical purposes and the other for routine duties.
