Structural tests

Abstract

IN ORDER to obtain type approval, confirm calculated values and demonstrate sufficient strength comprehensive structural tests were carried out. During the dimensioning phase approximately 65 manufacturing and static structural tests had been carried out so that the results could be incorporated into dimensioning. It had been planned to build two test airframes for demonstrating and checking the static and dynamic strength calculations.
