Abstract

Mounting of the engine is by four isolator mounts near the middle of the engine to an airframe wing structure, thus simplifying the wing structure and providing an effective isolation for the aircraft against propeller vibration through unbalance or unregular air flows. The remainder of the installation is simple and straightforward. The engine is started with a normal electrical starter generator unit, ignition is by spark ignition and control lever inputs are direct mechanical linkages.
