Abstract

Helicopters and Trainers were very much to the fore at Farnborough '84. Of the helicopters on show, nearly a dozen military types were to be seen on the static line. A great deal of curiosity was aroused by the appearance of the Russian Mil Mi‐26, which at present is the largest helicopter in the world, and also the only rotating wing craft with an eight blade rotor.
