Abstract

GROUND mounted signals, designed to control the movement of taxiing aircraft, are among the many safety measures adopted for the new Falklands Airport. Such equipment, manufactured by Forest City of Altrincham, Cheshire, is also in daily use on civil and military airports throughout the world.
