Hitachi Seiki Boosts Machining Efficiency on Rocket Motor Components

Abstract

DURING the past 18 months, BAJ (part of Meggitt Aerospace) has spent over £1 million on advanced CNC machine tools for its Avon‐based factory. And for the precise machining of rocket motor cases the company selected a VK 45 vertical machining centre from Hitachi Seiki UK.
