Abstract

Versatile machines capable of filling ½pt to 1gal containers automatically with foaming and non‐foaming liquids and equipped with a remote filling probe to fill up to 45gal containers semi‐automatically, have been introduced by Neumo Ltd. Machines are suitable for handling liquid products such as chemicals, paints and bulk pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Typical speeds of filling automatically are 35—½pt and 12‐1gal containers a minute with non‐foaming liquids and 15 to 20‐½pt and 6 to 8‐1gal containers a minute with foaming liquids. Operating semi‐automatically,typical speed of filling on both foaming and non‐foaming liquids is up to three 5gal containers a minute and one 45gal container every 2½ minutes.
