Abstract

Making and selling printed circuits is a high technology business today. It needs skilled management for growth in success and profitability, and the factors to be considered are myriad. Some of them related to marketing, technology, and business, including the advent of the microprocessor, are considered. General trends are reviewed briefly and the requirement pressure to approach the ideal interconnection capability is examined. Then time sharing using the bus‐structure is suggested to continue the personal view of the possible way ahead in the Industry for the decade just starting.
