Abstract

Our library was one of the first to receive an M300 Workstation, in late March 1984. We realized that we were in some respects venturing into new territory but, with the assistance of SUNY/ OCLC network staff and generous help from the college's computer center, we forged ahead, solving problems as they came up and slowly putting the power of the Workstation to work for us. Because sharing experiences and solutions to problems has proven invaluable to users of other microcomputers, I hope the following discussion will be helpful to those who own or are considering acquiring an M300 Workstation.
