Special Issue on Review of business disciplines – past, present and future

Guest Editor Göran Svensson, Halmstad University, Sweden

This special issue series will include articles that provide a review of business disciplines in academia. The topics may review a business discipline on an overall level or be restricted to a review of the parts of a business discipline, such as sub-disciplines, principal constructs and applied methodologies.

The common denominators of these topics are that the past, the present and the future of the topic chosen should be addressed, as well as seminal work and references should be a part of the review. Research implications and implications for practice should also be addressed – as well as suggestions for the future.

The reviews should cover one of the following business disciplines – management, leadership, marketing, logistics, strategy, quality management, entrepreneurship, business ethics, international business, operations management, manufacturing, accounting and finance – specifically of interest to business and/or academia worldwide.

Please note that this special issue series encourages thought- provoking and challenging papers.
