The second issue of this volume incorporates a special issue developed by Professor Robert Howlett and Dr Eva Maleviti on Sustainability in Energy and Buildings. The special issue presents four papers from the Second International Conference on the theme held in Brighton in 2010. We thank the Guest Editors for their efforts in producing this issue. Energy management in buildings is an area that has received less attention in IJESM so far and we are thankful to the Guest Editors for adding this dimension to our journal.
This issue also contains three other regular papers and a book review. We hope our readers will enjoy the issue.
