The fifth edition of Interlibrary Loan Policies Directory by Leslie R. Morris has been published by Neal-Schuman Publishers, Inc.
This edition provides the most current information available on 1,425 academic, public and special libraries throughout the USA, Puerto Rico and Canada. This information allows interlibrary loan librarians to find, review and compare the interlibrary loan policies of these libraries.
The information provided includes the name, address, telephone and fax numbers of the library; the OCLC codes and RLIN codes; the loan periods and cost of borrowing; and any special packaging requirements. New material that has been included in this issue includes Ariel addresses and Internet addresses. There are also a number of new indexes which include: libraries that loan government documents; libraries that loan periodicals (as opposed to sending photocopies); libraries that loan microforms; libraries that loan newspapers; and libraries that loan media.
This is the only nation-wide interlibrary loan policies and cost directory for the USA, Puerto Rico and Canada.
