Originally started by librarians in the United States LISNews is a new discussion list for anyone with an interest in library and information science. The site is designed for items of news accompanied with a message board for discussion and comments.
The site is based in the USA but is used for up-to-date news from around the world. The administrators of the site are keen to increase the amount of news and views from outside the USA.
