MCB University Press is offering members of the library community the opportunity to register current research and project information on their Library and Information Services Internet Research Register. The register will build up into an invaluable resource, enabling the history of research in a particular field to be tracked.
The register focuses on bottom-line research-into-practice. It will allow the user to:

check research already under way;
- •
identify research methodologies, possible collaborators and sources of funding; and
- •
identify types of research, and areas where further research is required.
The Research Register database is hyperlinked to the LIS journals of MCB University Press via Emerald, and is now also available for use through the public domain service Library Link (at http://www.liblink.co.uk/).
