The Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) is a nonprofit research institution in China, within the Chinese Academy of Sciences. SIA’s mission is to develop state-of-the-art robotic and automation technologies.

The comprehensive and easy-to-navigate web site has an excellent English version. The home page displays an introduction to SIA. There are links that provide detailed information on SIA; its history and key personnel; news; SIA’s seven robotic research units; SIA’s industrialization and commercialization efforts; graduate education; international exchanges and collaboration efforts; and the SIA campus. There is also a link called “Library and Journals” which mentions that the SIA’s Info Center houses most world published books and journals on science and technology, including two academic journals published by SIA, but there are no additional links to these journals nor the Info Center itself.

The web site also includes a search feature.
