Recycle-more-glass with Valpak aims to increase the amount of glass recycled in the UK from just 25 per cent to more than 50 per cent. Every week, UK consumers drink enough wine, beer and spirits to create thousands of tonnes of waste glass. At the moment, the majority of bottles are simply thrown away with the general trade waste at the back door.
