IFST elects three new fellows

The Institute of Food Science & Technology is pleased to announce the election of three new fellows:

  1. 1.

    Mr David Grimstead, Group Technical Manager, Richmond Frozen Confectionery Ltd;

  2. 2.

    Mr Alan J. Speight, Consultant Food Technologist; and

  3. 3.

    Dr Suzanne B. Surman, Unit Head, Water & Environmental Microbiology Unit, Central Public Health Laboratory.

Fellowship is the senior grade of membership of the IFST and is awarded only to those who have either made a substantial contribution to food science and technology or who have reached a position of seniority and authority in the profession.
