Food - a fact of life, is a new website for primary school teachers and children that provides up-to-date, accurate and consistent information about healthier eating. The website is a valuable resource for use with interactive whiteboards in the classroom, as well as by small groups or individual children.
The site contains: detailed teachers' notes, 25 worksheets, ten PowerPoints, two interactive activities (extending to 4 in February 2006), five sets of new food cards, eight recipe sheets, three posters, and one video.
