Royal Institute of Public Health

We are now pleased to be able to bring you further information about the new Royal Institute of Public Health (RIPH) Healthier Food and Special Diets qualifications which are now available.

The two awards are:

  • The RIPH Level 1 Award in Healthier Food and Special Diets;

  • The RIPH Level 2 Award in Healthier Food and Special Diets.

In addition, a Centre Training Day on 1 February at RIPH (London) for interested trainers was held. The main objective of the day was to take trainers through the subject matter to enable them to deliver the course, and our Chief Examiner Mabel Blades, who is a national authority in the area of Nutrition, who ran the session and provided tutor materials.

If you are interested in registering to offer these qualifications programmes. Contact the RIPH. This will enable us to plan ahead and provide you with the necessary materials.

Healthy Eating has never been higher on the national agenda and these qualifications are a timely contribution to the overall effort to improve the nation's health through a better understanding of the importance of eating healthily.

Contact the RIPH for more information about the qualifications and how to deliver them.
