The outcomes from an independent practice nurse led randomised controlled trial managed by the University of London and funded by the British Heart Foundation have recently been publicised. ProHealthClinical was selected as the weight management intervention and the results were presented at the European Congress on Obesity in Budapest in April 2007.The University of London is currently writing up a study for publication of the primary care outcomes.
