IFST has released an Advisory Statement, entitled “Don't Spread Germs: avoiding cross-contamination in the home”. The Advisory Statement considers how cross-contamination occurs and why it must be avoided. It then highlights ten pointers to avoid cross-contamination in the home.
The publication of this IFST Advisory Statement coincided with the launch of the Food Standards Agency's (FSA) own materials in preparation for the 16th national food safety week (9th-13th June 2008).
