Renowned UK based food ingredients company, Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) Ltd has introduced healthier products, which are lower in fat and have reduced salt, in response to the growing demands from health conscious consumers. Pecan Deluxe's “better for you” range includes lower fat fudge inclusions, reduced fat and salt brownie pieces and no sugar chocolate pieces, which unlike other healthier alternatives on the market, do not compromise on quality, taste or texture. These “better for you” products can be used in a range of applications including bakery, cereal, frozen desserts, ice cream and as additions to other confectionery items such as chocolate.
The company has combined time-honoured, traditional manufacturing techniques with modern commercial demands to develop its widening product portfolio and work towards enhancing nutritional choices and healthier options, which has helped Pecan Deluxe to stay ahead of its competition. It has already experienced massive successes with its range of ingredients, which have a variety of added nutritional properties – these include, stress reducing herbs, extra vitamins and minerals, which have appealed to consumers looking for indulgence with nutritional benefits. The selection of inclusions with nutritional benefits consists of praline-coated pumpkin seeds, toasted lemon sesame seeds, chocolate-coated sunflower seeds, honey sprinkles as an alternative to sugar, Siberian ginseng and camomile extract which are added to chocolate ribbon and high-fibre crisps.

Pecan Deluxe Candy (Europe) Ltd was established in the UK in 1999 and supplies all of Europe and Australia from its plant based in Sherburn-in-Elmet, Yorkshire.
The business provides employment for around 45 people and specialises in the development and supply of food ingredients including sauces, fillings, nut pralines, dessert toppings, specialist ice cream inclusions and chocolate products.
