Health and Nutrition Kaufmann Memorial Award Presentation: “Obesity and Fat – the role of Adipose Tissue”, Speaker: Professor Paul Trayhum

The speaker spoke about body fat not being on just an inert substance, but having a metabolic function of producing various substances such as hormones, which have a large impact with weight and the ensuing health problems.

Monday 28 September

  • Minor components in Olive oil.

There was a concurrent very useful and well attended exhibition from oil producers.

There is a future symposium on fat in Australia.
