Profiles four New Zealand businesses that are at different stages in the start-up process to illustrate what is involved in the entire process. Describes each company in turn - Nova Eco-Tech which is just launching itself on the back of a new product developed by its founder and is looking for funding; Shark Patrol which offers an online community credit check system and has been in business for a year; Thathorse.com which is an online site selling horses and horse-related products and has been in business for three years; and Kernmobile, which provides mobile workforce management software and which has just relaunched itself.
